BD Discontinues BDô Pen Mini and BDô Pen

Franklin Lakes, NJ (May 10, 2004)-BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) is announcing today the discontinuation of the BDô Pen Mini and BDô Pen, reusable insulin pens, due to the discontinuation of 1.5 ml insulin cartridges recently announced by insulin manufacturers. BD's reusable insulin pens are designed to be used with a 1.5 ml insulin cartridge.

BD will continue to make 1.5 ml reusable insulin pens available to consumers through June 30, 2004.
