Hi, my name is Hannah. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in August 2004. A long time ago. I still think my story can be helpful. I was only four when I was diagnosed.
I had to grow up faster. I had to take control. I am not the best diabetic, but I am trying. I know it is important. Diabetes can take an affect on your life, but, if you control it you can do anything. All you can do is focus on it and take care of it. It may seem hard at times and it is. But, you can do it. I did!
I am now 13 almost 14. I am still not the best but all I can do is try and work on it.
You can if you want.
