My name is Jackson. I am 10 years old. I was diagnosed January 7, 2010 with type 1 diabetes. I was 9 at the time.
My mom noticed that I was drinking alot and peeing a lot. I was even hiding water bottles in my bed. So she took me to the hospital and they did a finger prick and my sugar was 593. I spent four days in the hospital.
I get really frustrated and angry sometimes with the diabetes, but I'm getting the pump next week and my mom says it will be much easier.
