Back to Kids' Voices Amy
Hi. My name is Amy and I was diagnosed on the 15th of November. Before I went into the hospital I was drinking constantly and going to the toilet a lot. I also couldn't sleep. When I was in the hospital I was scared. But then the doctors and nurses taught me and my family all about Diabetes.

My insulin sometimes hurts and stings. It also sometimes bleeds. There is history of Diabetes in my family, because my grandad has got it and my mum's nan had diabetes (type 2). I have got type 1. I would love to make a penpal so plaese write to me.
