Type 2 Diabetes in Youth from 2007

  1. Are there any surveys about the risk factors for the development of type 2 diabetes in children? Is there anything about nutrition/food habits, physical activity, etc.? (18 Dec 2007)
  2. My daughter is overweight and producing too much insulin. She was prescribed Glucophage, but the package says it's for high blood sugars. Is this the right medication for her? (29 Nov 2007)
