A1c, Glycohemoglobin, HgbA1c from 2011
- Though the doctor was pleased with my daughter's A1c of 7.0, I have read that it should be 6.5. Shouldn't it be more towards 6.0? (6 Sep 2011)
- My teen son's meter and sensor indicated mostly in range numbers, but his A1c remains elevated. The clinic wants my son admitted to monitor him. Have you heard of this before? (9 May 2011)
- Does the HbA1c worsen with time and make it increasingly difficult to keep the blood sugars well controlled? Is an A1c under 6.5 more difficult the longer one has diabetes? (4 May 2011)
- My daughter's A1c has gone up since pumping. What can I do to lower it? My daughter had a seizure-like reaction with a normal blood sugar. How can we avoid such episodes? (7 Apr 2011)
