Joyce Mosiman, RD, LD, CDE has her degree from Kansas State University and an Internship at the VA Hospital in Houston, Texas. For the past eleven years she has been the Program Coordinator of The Children's Diabetes Center at the Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, the first children's program to be Recognized by the American Diabetes Association. Joyce has been active in the local, state and national ADA, serving as local camp dietitian/chairperson, member of the ADA's national Youth Services Committee, dietitian of the National Youth Congress, and on the national Education Program Recognition Committee. She is currently a reviewer for the ADA's Recognition Program.
