From Minjur, Tamil Nadu, India:

What vaccinations should be given to a child with type 1 diabetes? Where can I find recipes suitable for a child with type 1?

The 2006 Childhood Immunization Schedule lists the standard vaccinations given to children in the U.S. Typically, there is no change to the vaccines given to children because of diabetes.

[Editor's comment: You can find recipes through our web page on Food and Nutrition. You may find more suitable recipes by consulting with a local dietitian. BH]
