From Elkhorn, Wisconsin, USA:

My boyfriend's two year old son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a week ago and I am having a hard time finding information and/or books to help my seven year old son to understand this. I don't want there to be resentment or bad feelings because of the change in our lifestyle. Do you have any suggestions?

For starters, you might want to start with Jean Betschart's It's Time to Learn About Diabetes . See also our web page on Books for Kids and Teens With Type 1.
