From Orrville, Ohio, USA:
Our nine year old son has had diabetes for two years. I know diabetes does not cause a learning disability, but thought I read somewhere that boys with diabetes tend to be slower in school, or words to this effect. Is this true?
I know of no recent evidence to support this and many old psychology studies must now be called into question because of the better tools for assessing blood sugar control.
