From St. Cloud Minnesota, USA:

My friend's daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes two months ago. She is unable to keep food down and has lost 10 to 15 pounds. She recently started to have seizures also. What can be causing her to have seizures and not keep food down?

There are various reasons why this might be happening. However, the important thing is that your friend seeks help from her diabetes team. You can also help by supporting her as much as you can during this time. It sounds like she is having a difficult time just now.
