I am 32 years old, I have had diabetes since the age of nine. I was diagnosed, they say, in the cold and flu season, time of year. When I was first diagnosed, I did not know what "it" was. Now, since I have had it for 23 years, I have seen many changes, all for the good of course.
I have an eleven year old healthy daughter, who they say is a miracle child. I had many complications with the pregnancy, for one, it was not planned, and I had high blood pressure with it. I went to the best hospital around my part of town. Pittsburgh is the best in my area. They handled my pregnancy with no problem. They have done plenty.
I am currently on three injections a day. I have tried every possible insulin, I think. I am also thinking about the insulin pump, because I have such a hectic lifestlye, always on the go. Never seem to have enough time in the day. But, overall, I have not had any major complications with my diabetes. I am thankful for this.

P.S. I would appreciate it if anyone on the pump could send me some input on the product. Once again, Thanks.
