8:00 a.m. Waffles and omelets. Hot coffee. Lots of hugs, tears, and smiles. Email addresses and phone numbers shared. Goodbyes and 'let's get together soons.' The Farewell Breakfast at Friends for Life.

Thanks to the continued generous support of Medtronic Diabetes, this was the third year that CWD has been able to offer a farewell breakfast. Over 1,500 conference participants attended, and it gave everyone the much-needed closure on this very emotional event.

Tom Karlya presented a very moving 10 minute video tribute filmed by CWD teens David Gaudette, Elena Lerwick, Tyler Lindemann and Jessica Plotts.

For those who were able to stay an extra day to relax, it was a beautiful day by the pool with lots of CWD buddies. A fine and relaxing ending to a most wonderful Friends for Life conference.

See you all next year at the Marriott World Center Resort in Orlando, June 29 - July 4, 2010!
