Back to Orlando 2007 Special Guest Adam Morrison
Special Guest - Adam Morrison

Adam Morrison was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when he was in the 8th grade. He took his diagnosis in stride and quickly asked his nurse to let him take over his insulin injections. Having diabetes didn't interfere with his basketball playing. In high school, he broke the single season and career scoring records in his conference. He played his college ball at Gonzaga University, where he also excelled, becoming the NCAA's leading scorer in the 2005-2006 season.

Morrison was drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats in the 2006 NBA Draft and now plays in the NBA. He will be joining us for Friends for Life: 2007 and will speak at the Family and Friends Banquet on Thursday evening and join in the fun at Sports Central.
