Friday, July 16, 2004 Program for Teens

9:00 - 10:15 a.m.

What Are Your Parents Worried About?
Presenter: Natalie Bellini, Craig Crease

Complications. Whether you have diabetes, or whether you're a brother or sister, you've heard the word umpteen times and you don't want to talk about it. The truth is, complications do happen to some people, and they are more likely to happen if you don't take care of yourself and keep your blood glucose levels in range. Natalie and Craig want you to understand why you need to be concerned and take charge now.

Discussion Group for Teen Siblings
Facilitators: Carolyn Billetdeaux, Richard Rubin

This discussion group is a chance for those of you who are teen siblings to discuss what's on your mind. Any topic is fair game. Carolyn (i.e., 16 year old sister of Sam, doesn't have diabetes) will start the conversation; there's a lot to fit into an hour!
