Magical Memories Day at Friends for Life, sponsored by Lilly Diabetes!

The day started with the Magical Memories Breakfast, a huge and yummy buffet breakfast featuring not just great food, but eight of Disney's most beloved characters: Mickey and Minnie, Pluto and Goofy, Chip and Dale, and Donald and Daisy. As well, Doc McStuffins had meet-n-greet time with everyone directly following readings of the new Coco book. Children of all ages (some very grown up) had plenty of photo ops with these Disney treasures before heading off on chartered buses to Disney's Magic Kingdom!

Lots of FFLs opted to stay poolside at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort since it was so hot and humid and the pools were so very inviting. And others – well, they divided their time between park and pool, coming back in the afternoon for a swim, and heading back to the parks for Extended Hours until 2 a.m.!

Saturday evening featured the Teen Dinner Dance and the Tween Social. DJ Miles and his team offered entertainment for the parties – a video party in the teen's Fiesta 5 and a Tomorrowland themed party in the tween's Fiesta 6. Carolyn Meredith and Belinda Peach organized the set-up and decorations for the evening festivities – and a team of 20 people helped set out hundreds of 'flashy-blinky' things. The rooms looked fabulous! Thanks to all who volunteered their time for set-up, chaperoning, and watching over the events so that these kids could have their own fun evening and parents could have an evening to relax.

Many FFL families enjoyed the Magic Kingdom on Saturday
